Washi Tape & Birthday Cards...

Hello Everyone! I finally got some free time & I took out my ever growing box of Washi Tape rolls & got to work.

SUPPLIES YOU WILL NEED:
1. Washi Tape Or Craft Tape
2. Scissors
3. Glue
4. Stickers
5. Round Corner Cutter
6. Acid Free Scrapbook Paper
7. Pens

You can do any size birthday card. I did a smaller type of card because I didn't want it too large for the envelope.

I used the blue honeycomb type patterned cardstock that I bought on sale in a pack at Michaels.

NO GLUE WAS NEEDED FOR THIS CARD!

I used 4 different washi tape rolls that I bought from Paxton Cove. If you notice, none of them are similar sizes... they're all different. I cut a slit in the ends so they looked more "bannerish"

I outlined them with my papermate flair Black & Blue pens & the grey chevron washi was outlined with my silver metallic marker.

I used Disney alphabet stickers for the "Happy" and I used some stickers from Joanns for the "Birthday". I then placed down some yellow "X" washi that I also got from Paxton Cove and outlined that with my black papermate flair pen. "Grandfather" was a sticker I got from Michaels.

NO ROUND CORNER CUTTER WAS USED ON THIS CARD!

Took me about 10 minutes to finish up this Birthday card. I made it for my Pa whose birthday is coming up very soon :)

I made this card much more girly & I really enjoyed making this one!

I used the colored Polka Dot cardstock from the same paperpack that the blue honeycomb design came from.

I also used the scraps from the first card for this card & glued it in the middle. I did a rather wide piece to add more color and to block off to add more "pizazz"

I outlined the blue cardstock with blue glitter washi tape from Michaels.

I then used 2 different types of washi tape. One came from a Michaels pack roll & the other came from Wangrea on Ebay! I did the same design as the "grandfather" card but I cut it in two pieces so it did not go over the glitter washi. (The easier way is to put those down first & then put the glitter washi)

I outlined the rainbow chevron with my purple papermate flair pen & I outlined the pink with my pink papermate flair pen.

"Happy" was used with a "sticko" alphabet from Michaels & Birthday was done with a Recollections brand from Michaels. I then found a flower sticker & "dotted" the I :)

I outlined Happy and Birthday with my purple papermate flair pen!

I then rounded the corners with my corner rounder.

Took me 15 minutes to finish up this "future" birthday card :)

Have fun making these designs or having fun making your own!
